It is a bit darker and exaggerated at times for example the famous carrot scene, but the luscious scenery, the honest portrayals of characters, and McNulty's performance as the annoying-but-charming Anne all outshine the weaknesses. Anne with an E have many up and downs that are amazing to watch!! This incredible piece of work has happiness, adventure, and even some sadness. When you watch this season and show you will not only be transported into it, but you will also want to know what's going to happen next!! I think that this show is a wonderful coming of age story for teenagers, but it also has something for any age group to watch!! I not only highly recommend this wonderful piece of work, but I will say that this is the best work I have ever watched on Netflix!!
